Donate to Improve Local Literacy
Allison and Crystal are two educators looking to fill literacy and numeracy education gaps in our local community. We are the first organization in our area to offer assessment, diagnosis, and one-on-one treatment all in the same place for reading disorders, dyslexia, dysgraphia, numeracy deficits, and dyscalculia. We serve all striving learners from young children to adults.
While ELA is not a non-profit, we would like to assist anyone who is in need of assessment, intervention, or tutoring. Since beginning our practice, we have spoken to so many families who need assistance for their children but cannot afford the costs, even with discounts. Every dollar we raise in this fundraiser will go directly to offset or completely cover the costs of assessment and treatment for those who are financially unable.
Outside of children who need assistance at our location in Martinez, we will offer free adult literacy classes at New Thomson United Methodist Church in Thomson, Georgia beginning in September 2025. We will need funds to provide the resources to operate at this second location, as well as to provide services to adults in our area who are illiterate but are motivated to learn to read.
We will provide periodic reports about how donations are used and who we are able to serve. Please consider donating to our Spotfund to help us close the literacy gap in the CSRA!
